We are excited to announce that our next meeting will be held on Thursday 8th September from 6 o’clock at The Living Room in Manchester.

We are looking forward to welcoming Jaki Platt, Head of Retail Platform Distribtion at Zurich, will be coming to speak to us over dinner.

After beginning her career with Price Waterhouse Jaki moved into financial services spending time within front line distribution as a financial advisor, in asset management and with life companies.

In recent years she has gained particular expertise working with advisers looking to transform their business models - to improve profitability, to engineer an exit strategy and to meet the demands of RDR. As she retains part ownership of an IFA practice she has a "live" view of the practical issues. Jaki is also a qualified business coach.

Jaki is now Head of Retail Platform Distribution at Zurich - responsible fordelivering a platform that will add value to adviser practices whilst building on the strong existing relationships and trust between Zurich and the adviser community.

In her free time Jaki enjoys cooking, travel and supporting Newcastle United - a cross she has to bear!
